From the outside, Rocky Balboa?s row house looks exactly as it did on the big screen in 1979. The brick home played host to the fictional Italian Stallion in ?Rocky II.? While the interior isn?t shown in the film, the street and front stoop are featured in several scenes, including Rocky?s 4 a.m. training sessions.
The home was chosen by ?Rocky? producers because they liked the look of the building. The homeowners who worked with the film production company recently passed away, real estate agent?Joe Bianco told the Associated Press.
Built in 1920, the Richmond-area building today is a 3-bedroom, 1-bath row house measuring 1,036?square feet and listed for $139,000, just above Philadelphia?s median home value of $106,700.
